ABOUT ME

Director of International and Domestic Partnerships at Lakeland University Japan

A Wisconsin native, I graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School with honors. After attending Lakeland University and earning my B.A. in Psychology, magna cum laude, I joined the Peace Corps. I served in Mongolia as foreign English language teacher for one year before evacuation in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I went on to earn my M.A. in International Education Management at Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, CA. Completed coursework covered effective intercultural communication approaches and international education program models, as well as marketing and recruitment management. I completed a practicum with Lakeland University as an international education intern, leading to my acceptance of a full-time role with their international branch campus located in Tokyo, Japan.
